ABOUT

An experimental project investigating how the elements of living nature (soybeans and gypsum - a mineral) interact, with man playing the role of creator and modulating various scenarios.

Gypsum volumes of monolithic structure were mixed with soybeans and soils, changing material ratios (multiplying or decreasing beans and soils) at different volume locations. As the volumes dried, the heat generated inside them caused the beans to germinate. Bean sprouts, pressing the volume from the inside, gradually formed a shape - where there were more beans with the ground, the sprouts split the object.

To accentuate the process, after drying the volume, several plant seedlings were planted on the surface, which were watered and lit by growth lamps throughout the life of the exposure. Their growth, along with bean sprouts, continued to form objects during the exposure. "Ecosystem", symbolizing the importance of man in influencing the environment,

and the power of nature to "recover" in every way
